Job responsibilities
Duties of the role include, but are not limited to:
- The primary purpose is to deliver OH care and advise the Chain of
Command (CoC) on how to employ and deploy Service Personnel within
their healthcare limitations.
- Provide OH support to primary care clinicians and the CoC via remote
and face to face working where appropriate.
- Promote a patient safety culture where staff are encouraged to report
concerns, errors and near misses and where staff concerns, and
significant events, are taken seriously, investigated and lessons are
identified and implemented.
- Provide clinical OH advice and support in the development and delivery
of individualised Return to Work (RtW) programmes and where
appropriate undertake workplace OH visits.
- Protected study time will be made available for continuing professional
development during working hours. While the amount of CPD
(Continuing Professional Development) undertake may vary between
individuals, ROHT MOD GPs will be expected to undertake sufficient CPD
to ensure revalidation as per GMC guidelines.

Please note the salary will be pro-rata where part time hours are
undertaken.

If found successful for this position, you will be required to provide

There is no requirement to deploy as this is met by our uniformed
personnel, but you will form the continuity of care required by our
patients when based at home.
The post does NOT offer relocation expenses (move of home, excess fares
or temporary transfer). Non-Standard move applicants will be eligible for

effect on 1 January 2021, the Ministry of Defence will only offer

a role has been deemed to be business critical. This role does not meet that
