Job summary
As the Civilian Practice Manager you will need to be well organised, and able to prioritise tasks to produce a well structured environment that supports The Defence Primary Health care (DPHC) dental centres.
You will be confident, have good communication skills at all levels and be able to delegate when the need arises. Do you cope well under pressure, have sound judgement and decision making skills.

Main duties of the job
Be aware of their role and responsibilities regarding the handling of patients complaints and suggestions in accordance with Defence Primary Healthcare Standard Operating Procedures.
Compile and submit dental returns in accordance with Defence Primary Health Care (Dental) Standard Operating Procedures.
Work within the guidance provided by the General Dental Council in the Scope of Practice document.
Co-ordinate business case and finance forms, ensuring submission to the Regional Headquarters for Principal Dental Officer (PDO) approval.
Act as the secretary for periodic practice meetings, disseminating agendas and minutes to all Dental Centre staff.
