Main duties of the job
The Mental Health Nurse will be required to ensure the systematic provision of high-quality mental health patient management. This will be through risk assessment, and mental health assessment and treatment. Facilitating liaison between the Departments of Community Mental Health (DCMHs), the Psychological Wellbeing Service (PWS), and all teams within DMRC to maintain the patient journey and patient safety. To provide specialist knowledge and implementation of care pathways and ensure their integration across the IDT.
This role will work within the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Code of Professional Conduct and adhere to all NMC standards, national, and Ministry of Defence (MOD) Policies and Guidelines.
