Main duties of the job
The Band 7 Occupational Therapists role is to be responsible for planning, organising and implementing specialist Occupational Therapy rehabilitation to service personnel with complex clinical needs within The Force Generation Service. The postholder will have a specific focus on supporting personnel to either return to work within the military or transition into the civilian workforce. The postholder will work autonomously, without direct supervision and be accountable for own professional actions and of those staff who they line manage. To also provide full support to the Team Manager and Occupational Therapy Professional Lead Advisor in ensuring the provision of a comprehensive, evidence based and professional Occupational Therapy service within clinical area.
