Job summary
Here at Defence Primary Healthcare (DPHC) we are an inclusive and dedicated organisation working to provide excellent care to our entitled personnel.
We are looking to appoint a talented leader who will have a key role in coordinating and managing the quality assurance systems and leading 2nd party assurance, as part of governance and assurance structure in Defence Primary Healthcare (DPHC).
This is a full-time, permanent position offering 37.5 hours a week. Offers to work part-time will be considered, depending on business needs.
Main duties of the job
As a member of the Regional Headquarters (RHQ) DPHC team, the position holder will work remotely, within the defined geographical area, supporting the medical, dental, rehabilitation, mental health and occupational health teams deliver care to the military and entitled population. This is an excellent opportunity for you to develop and implement plans on a cross system basis. You will provide expertise and understanding of various components of clinical quality (safe, effective, responsive, well led and patient centred care).
A key focus of the role will be to ensure diligent management of assurance systems and ensure effective relationships with service clinical leads across the geographical area of responsibility. This post requires tenacity, well developed technical knowledge and practice to maintain an organisational influence that will positively develop our ability to sustainably deliver high quality care.
