The Ministry of Defence (MOD) provides an occupationally focused Health Care Service. Our Specialist Occupational Health (OH) services encompass the medical aspects of an individual's fitness for work, to include employment, deployment, health surveillance. rehabilitation, provision of advice to commanders, assessment of health on leaving the Armed Forces and (Army only) ill-health retirement. It is a key contributor to force preparation, force multiplication and force sustainment, and is a common thread through all health and wellbeing interventions.
We are looking to recruit a dynamic, organised and enthusiastic Band 6 Occupational Health Clinician to join our vibrant and fast paced organisation that seeks to sustain and improve the operational efficiency of injured service personnel by supporting the delivery of a peripatetic occupational health service. The vacant post is part time working 37.5 hours per week. Requests to work flexibly will be considered, taking into account business needs. Could this be the role for you? Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will support the delivery of a peripatetic Occupational Health (OH) service which requires travel between the base location and the assigned units.
