Main duties of the job
The physiotherapist will work with the Senior Medical Officer (SMO) for the planning and delivery of physiotherapy, including the care of musculoskeletal (MSK) injuries. To select, assess, diagnose, and manage patients referred to the Primary Care Rehabilitation Facility (PCRF) and organise onwards referral as appropriate. Acting as a source of advanced clinical expertise in the management of MSK dysfunction and provide an advisory service to patients, other senior physiotherapists, Healthcare Professionals and General Practitioners (GPs) within the practice.
