This post is located at Larkhill which supports a patient population in excess of 4500.

DPHC is a vibrant and fast paced organisation that seeks to sustain and improve the operational efficiency of injured service personnel by provision of high-quality targeted rehabilitation.

This post will be 17.5 hours a week, requests to work flexibly will be considered, taking into account business needs.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will give full support to the Line Manager in ensuring the provision of a comprehensive and professional physiotherapy/rehabilitation service for entitled personnel.

This will include undertaking highly skilled and specialist work in the musculo-skeletal/sports and training injury area including group therapy.

Job responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Providing a high standard of physiotherapy delivery to Service personnel including highly specialist interventions in the muscular-skeletal/sports and training injury environment
  • Providing a positive caring environment, in which patients can expect a high-quality professional service
  • working closely with other rehabilitation professionals including military Exercise Rehabilitation Instructors to provide tailored physical rehabilitation programs, including group therapy sessions
  • Ensureing high standards of administration of physiotherapy care within the department in both, allocation of patients to therapists and other multidisciplinary team members and referrals to review clinics

Many of our practices are networked and linked to provide support to each other . On Occasion within your planned working schedule you may be required to work at the linked practice site . In these situations , travel time and cost will be allowed for . Therefore a Driving Licence is required
