Main duties of the job
We are looking for an A-Player who is a highly efficient, professional and brings a good sense of humour to the team and patients.
You will primarily provide dental treatment, oral hygiene instruction & education, administration.
This includes working towards improving and maintaining the dental health and operational fitness of entitled personnel. While also ensuring the implementation of aims and objectives in accordance with Ministry of Defence (MoD) and Dental policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Informing General Dental Council of annual Continuous Professional Development (CPD) undertaken, when requested.
- Undertaking Continuous Professional Development in the core subjects of medical emergencies, Infection Prevention Control (IPC), disinfection and decontamination, radiography and radiation protection, legal and ethical issues, and handling complaints, as recommended by the General Dental Council.
- Maintaining immunological protection against Hepatitis B in accordance with current guidelines, advising the Line Manager (LM) of any change to immunological status.
- Providing dental hygiene treatment in line with their approved scope of practice as per General Dental Council guidelines and in accordance with agreed patient group directive.
