We are looking to recruit a hard working, organised and enthusiastic Band 5 Pharmacy Technician to join our friendly team here at the Queen Elizabeth's Medial Health Centre, Tidworth.

Main duties of the job
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Dealing with procurement , receipt, safe custody, storage, audit and dispensing of all medicinal products and equipment including Controlled and Accountable Drugs, in accordance with SOPs.
- Ensuring compliance with current legislation, policies and guidance regarding security, health and safety and patient confidentiality.
- Undertaking professional audits in line with DPHC requirements.
- Provision of advice to medical centre staff on pharmacy and prescribing issues within the scope of professional competence.
- Mentoring personnel undertaking dispensary awareness training and Pharmacy Technician students.
This position offers 37.5 hours per week. Part-time candidates will be considered but due to the service delivery requirements, it must be on a job share basis as full-time hours need to be covered.
