Job summary
This role is perfect for a candidate that enjoys working within a team and aims to provide excellent customer service, whilst delivering general medical services and elements of occupational health to military personnel.
This is a permanent position, offering 37.5 hours weekly. Requests to work flexibly will be considered, in the case of a job share, this will need to make up the full time hours taking into account the business needs.

Main duties of the job
As the chosen candidate, you will assist with the care delivery and running of the ward and to provide high standards of nursing care to patients admitted to the bedding down facility which is an extension of our primary care service. You will also provide care to patients who attend the primary care clinic for unscheduled and routine care, but who do not require bedding down.
You'll hold responsibility for the delivery of appropriate assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care needs, medical screening and be able to advise patients within your professional competence in line with current policy, guidelines whilst utilising agreed evidence based practice.
