We are looking to recruit a Band 6 Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Radiographer for an exciting role, working alongside the military, that offers numerous benefits and opportunities. This position is based at Stanford Hall, Stanford-on-Soar, Loughborough.

This position is offered at 7.5 hours per week with the working day to be agreed. Please note the salary will be pro-rata for part time hours undertaken.
Main duties of the job
You will be part of the multidisciplinary team providing an MRI service in support of DMRCs stated aims and objectives, ensuring the delivery is professional and patient centred. You will become be an effective member of the Diagnostic Imaging team, providing a high standard of radiographic service to Radiologists and patients and will provide full support to the Head of Department and the MRI Lead Radiographer.
The post holder will be required to attend regular meetings, keep up to date with mandatory training and undertake clinical administration tasks as directed by their Line Manager or Chain of Command.

Duties and responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
- Providing high quality and timely MRI examinations following protocols and guidance to enable best diagnosis and treatment. Prioritising and assessing workflow, always reacting to the needs and safety of patients.

Performing complex unsupervised examinations relevant to appropriate level of training and experience. Processing and manipulating complex MRI data.

Controlling access of patients, staff and others to the MRI suite with particular reference to the MRI safety outlined in the Local Rules.

Assisting the MRI Lead Radiographer in the day to day running of the MRI scanner, maintaining high standards at all times and deputise in their absence.
- Responding to and investigating any reports of equipment malfunction. Report all incidents of injury to themselves or patients and complete the appropriate incident form.
