We are looking to recruit a dynamic, organised and enthusiastic Part time Civilian Senior Dental Practitioner (CDP) here at the Dental Centre, Sir John Moore Barracks in Winchester.
The Part time hours will be 13 hours per week.

Main duties of the job
The purpose of the post is to provide leadership of the multi-disciplinary team within a Defence Primary Healthcare (DPHC) dental facility. You will be responsible to the Principal Dental Officer (PDO) for the performance of the facility against the DPHC mission and associated performance targets.

Responsibilities include and are not limited to:
- Monitoring against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and optimising performance through data analysis.
- Ensuring KPIs are achieved by arranging for all entitled personnel to be inspected at intervals in accordance with NICE (National Institute for Health and Care Excellence) guidelines and that appropriate follow-up treatment is provided. Treatment should be prioritised with regard to operational readiness.
- Managing military and civilian staff within their dental facility, through completion of appraisals, monitoring and managing poor performance, attendance and sickness absence, taking appropriate action (disciplinary/restoring efficiency) as required and in accordance with policy.
