The vacancy offers 37 hours per week. Part-time candidates will be considered but due to service delivery requirements it must be on a job share basis as full-time hours need to be covered.

Main duties of the job

We are seeking a highly motivated CMP who will be responsible for delivering a clinical service to patients registered with the practice based in Chatham in Brompton Barracks. You will be working within a multi-disciplinary team alongside Nurses, Physiotherapists and Pharmacy Technicians. Opportunities for Occupational medicine, to include Aviation and Diving Medicine training are available in some locations alongside clinical professional development.

As our successful candidate, you should be an efficient and supportive asset to the team. This means being able to provide safe and appropriate medical advice, whilst being expected to carry out associated administrative tasks in accordance with MOD policy and General Medical Council (GMC) standards.

  • Maximising the levels of health, wellbeing and employability of Service personnel to ensure the needs of the single Services are met.
  • Undertaking mandatory medical examinations and providing appropriate medical advice to both individuals and Chain of Command.
  • Providing primary care emergency treatment to any patient who may require within this Establishment.
