Physiotherapist looking for an exciting new role working alongside the

Primary Healthcare (DPHC) central and Wessex region ,we have a full-time
position offering 37.5 hours per week based at MOD Lyneham.
We are an
inclusive and dedicated organisation working to provide excellent care to our
hardworking service personnel! We prioritise the health and wellbeing of our
staff, as well as our patients. Our patients present with an interesting mix of
sports and training injuries, trauma, as well as the usual occupational aches
and pains. Returning personnel to full fitness, and maximising their well-being
is our ultimate aim, and you will be a key part of this effort, working with
the rest of the healthcare team.
We are seeking an
individual who can work well independently and as part of a
supportive team . you will have a strong ethos in achieving shared goals .
The position is offered at 37.5 hours per week. Part-time candidates will also be considered, but due to service delivery requirements it must be on a job share basis as a full time hours need to be covered.

Main duties of the job
To give full
support to the Line Manager in ensuring the provision of a comprehensive and
professional physiotherapy/rehabilitation service for entitled personnel. This
will include undertaking highly skilled and specialist work in the
musculo-skeletal/sports and training injury area including group therapy.

Duties and responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to:
To provide a high standard of physiotherapy delivery to
Service personnel including highly specialist interventions in the
muscular-skeletal/sports and training injury environment.
To provide a positive caring environment, in which
patients can expect a high quality professional service.
To provide full support to the line manager in ensuring
the provision of a comprehensive and professional physiotherapy/rehabilitation
service for entitled personnel. This will include undertaking highly skilled
and specialist work, including both individual and group based therapy.
Communicating effectively with patients to ensure
informed consent for treatment, good understanding of their conditions and
maximise their rehabilitation potential. Patients may have barriers to
communication e.g. English as their second language.
To work closely with other rehabilitation professionals
including military Exercise Rehabilitation Instructors to provide tailored
physical rehabilitation programs, including group therapy sessions.
To manage and prioritise own clinical caseload
efficiently and effectively.
