We are looking for a Junior Consultant on a 12 month Fixed Term basis. This role will be working with a service deployed in the Digital Prevention Services portfolio. You will be expected to work closely with the Director of Digital Prevention Services, managing and maintaining the smooth running of diaries and shared inboxes, prioritising work schedules by changing priorities, liaising and negotiating with all stakeholders efficiently and effectively.

The post holder will share the ethos and values of SCW and will be able to bring the skills, experience, and subject matter expertise they have developed in their career, to support the team to deliver quality services.

This role will involve travel across the South of England and potentially further afield - This role can be delivered in a flexible hybrid way with any travel, site visits or meetings arranged by agreement on a very occasional basis.

Main duties of the job

The primary responsibility of this role is to work as a member of a designated team (and independently) to provide support to the Director of Digital Prevention Services. The post-holder will be required to provide project support, business and administrative management, diary management and project management input. Key responsibilities include:

o Provide a high-level, professional and confidential service to Senior Programme leads covering all aspects of secretarial, administrative and organisational support.o Analysing and summarising relevant information from a wide range of sources (Conference papers, national guidance, local policies and standards, financial reports and budgets, technical specifications and capabilities) for colleagues.o Manage and maintain the smooth running of shared programme diaries and/or including the diaries of key programme leads, prioritising work schedules by changing priorities and liaising and negotiating with all stakeholders efficiently and effectively.

About us

This role sits within the Transformation Directorate, which has approximately 250 people working across a range of professional disciplines within the transformation and consultancy space. The post holder will be allocated a Career Development Manager to support them pastorally and to support them on their career journey and they will report into an Assignment Manager for each project they are assigned to.

The post holder will play an essential part in the effective delivery of the Digital Prevention Services programme.
