As the Bank Staff Side Job Evaluation Lead, you will play a pivotal role in our HR team, ensuring that our job evaluation processes are robust, equitable, and aligned with industry standards. You will lead the evaluation of roles across the bank, provide expert advice on job grading, and support our commitment to fair compensation practices.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide staff side strategic overview of SCW's JE service in collaboration with SCW's Management JE Lead and People Support lead.
In collaboration with the Management JE Lead conduct audits and surveys on the evaluator pool ensuring consistency and competence addressing any evaluation misunderstandings or inconsistency providing coaching and training.
To be the staff side voice in conversation with the People Support Lead.
To attend and represent the staff side agenda at the monthly evaluator touch point meeting,
The post holder will consider and encourage continuous improvement for the job evaluation service.
The post holder will work in collaboration with the management JE lead and People Support lead to develop new business / services opportunities providing insight and assurance to staff side groups in external customer.
About us
The post holder will report to the People Support Lead, Senior Responsible Officer for SCW's JE service. Working collaboratively and in partnership with the management JE lead.
You will support a pool of 30 plus evaluators

- Demonstrable experience in a similar customer focused role
- Experience of Job Analysis Job Evaluation (JAJE)
- Advanced knowledge and skill in the use of JE process and systems
- Regular requirement to develop or create outcome reports,
- Advanced computer and keyboard skills with good understanding of spreadsheets and data extraction
- Demonstrable experience of working in an NHS JE environment
Skills & Capabilities

- In depth communication skills dealing with highly complex evaluations, providing clear outcome feedback to no match evaluations. Ability to cope where there are barriers to understanding.
- Experience of analysing evaluation outcome and trends. Escalating to People Admin services manager, Assistant People Business Partner and/or local People Teams as required
- The ability to inspire confidence in the delivery of the JE service
- Ability to concentrate for long periods of time to undertake complex analysis
- Demonstrable experience in the planning workloads both short and long term
- Makes sensible, intelligent decisions in deadline driven situations
- Flexible approach to work to ensure deadlines are achieved
- Ability to travel as a when required
