Job summary

We are looking for a full time permanent IT Trainer to work within the NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit's Informatics IT Training team. This role is based in the Kent & Medway area.

SCW are proud to provide IT training services for around 11% (approx. 850) of GP practices in England.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will provide NHS applications and GP clinical systems training to GP practices, predominantly in the South East area. You will be responsible for facilitating practices to use clinical systems to support their business processes. You will play a key role in delivering an agreed training service and demonstrating value to the customer through provision of a professional training service.

The post holder will have some knowledge and experience of teaching and training adults, design of training resources, for EMIS clinical system and MS Office suite, and is responsible for responding to queries from customers and providing information.

The role holder will be based in one of SCW IT Services offices in the Kent & Medway area, (although currently home working), moving towards agile working. The role holder will work closely with IT Services teams and some travel will also be required throughout the South customer areas to deliver customers and senior stakeholders training requirements.
