We are looking for an experienced individual to lead the effective delivery of PMO/Project management activities; ensuring robust planning, project management, governance processes, and priorities/deliverables are met within changing timescales and political upheaval both leading and supporting delivery.
Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities:
- Contributing to the development and delivery of the broader PMO/Programme/Project and its initiatives
- Provide advice to the PMO/Programme/Project teams and stakeholders in relation to project management, processes, and procedures
- Design and implementation of PMO/Programme/Project management operational models, tools and processes shaped around the needs of the PMO/Programme/Project to ensure delivery of aims and objectives
- Design and implement Stakeholder management working with a wide range of different and sometimes high-profile stakeholders in health, care, local government, cabinet office and public bodies
- Accountability for artefacts such as reporting and tracking action, risks and issues to a wide and often high-profile audience; management of risks and issues
- Production and presentation of documents, reports and slide packs as required
- Leading requirements for programme reporting and key communications and messages to wider health and care audience including health, local government, central government, and public bodies.
- Embedding PMO and project management best practice

This bank role sits within the Transformation Directorate, which has approximately 250 people working across a range of professional disciplines within the transformation and consultancy space.
The post holder will play an essential part in the effective delivery of impactful projects and consultancy assignments across health and care.
