Job summary

We are looking for fully trained experienced NHS Job Matchers / Evaluators to join our Job Evaluation service on a fixed-term basis for 6 months to support a period of high volume of requests.

Main duties of the job

Working in partnership to support SCW and its customer base with an accurate, unbiased evaluation of AFC roles using job descriptions, person specifications and any other additional supporting information.

The post holder will support the delivery of a high-quality value for money job evaluation service that supports and educates staff in the required job matching process and requirements. Providing clear and consistent outcome feedback to actively contribute to job description and service improvement.

About us

The post holder will provide professional expertise to employees and managers internally and externally to NHS and non-NHS customer organisations. The post holder will follow current processes and be part of Job matching panels held virtually.

  • Educated to Degree level education or equivalent or previous relevant experience
  • Evidence of undertaking formal JE training course

Desirable

  • Level 5 CIPD

Knowledge & Experience

  • Good level of knowledge of NHS Terms and Conditions of service
  • Expert knowledge of NHS JE Scheme
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar customer focused role

  • The ability to inspire confidence in the delivery of the JE service
  • Ability to concentrate for long periods of time to undertake complex analysis
  • Demonstrable experience in the planning workloads both short and long term
  • Makes sensible, intelligent decisions in deadline driven situations
  • Flexible approach to work to ensure deadlines are achieved
