The range of work we get involved in is pretty amazing and so it's a great opportunity to be creative, deliver innovative approaches and changes, offering constant opportunity to learn and therefore build on your portfolio. We also have a great network both internally and externally due to our project range, so you get to see the best of what SCW and the NHS has to offer and get to work closely with other teams to deliver projects and programmes.
As we expand our Workforce consultancy offer we are particularly interested in applicants who can across a variety of spaces, from operational workforce management within a provider space to national workforce strategy, but who may hold a specific leadership or subject matter experience in some of our core growth areas such as workforce delivery and operational management within providers (medical staffing, temporary staffing, e-rostering), new role development and workforce strategy and planning and developing a future focused workforce - from digital and AI readiness to genomics and clinical innovation.
About us
The Workforce team deliver a mix of projects and programmes relating to workforce strategy, planning, analysis, modelling and transformation plus strategic resourcing and talent acquisition and workforce development, amongst other things! The projects and programmes operate across the health and care sector and are often delivered as part of multi-disciplinary team working with colleagues from different specialisms across the business, from clinical and transformation specialists to data, digital and communications & engagement.
Location wise this can be flexible within the SCW patch. At present our agile workers are working mostly from home, but this may be subject to change moving forwards. Any questions or queries, please contact the Workforce team in the first instance on scwcsu.workforce@nhs.net.
