Job summary

Are you a GP looking for a flexible remote working to fit around other commitments?

Do you enjoy doing remote clinical triage and clinical assessment?

Would you like to help in supporting 111 and primary care during this time of recovery to ensure patients can access the services they need?

NHS South, Central and West (SCW) GP Workforce Solutions are currently recruiting more GPs to our GP Staff Bank.

Main duties of the job

Due to the success of our service in supporting urgent care and primary care services across England, we are now seeking more GPs to work with us. We currently have a variety of deployments and shift lengths that covers all days of the week including bank holidays between 08:00-midnight. The work is a variety of:

  • Remote assessments for urgent care services and primary care services
  • Clinical triage of patient funding applications
  • Advisory roles for SCW or other NHS organisation
  • GP Educator/trainer roles
  • GP Auditors

We do offer opportunities to work 'in hours' and 'out of hours', however we currently have a greater level of available shifts for immediate deployment for 'out of hours' work.

  • Be eligible for full registration with, and hold a current licence to practise from the GMC and inclusion on the Performers List at intended start date
