Job summary

The Strategy and Innovation team are seeing to recruit anexperienced Band 5 Project Support Officer to join at an exciting time of innovation.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who brings both organisation skills and rigour alongside the tenacity to succeed. You will play a vital part in the delivery of our transformation journey by providing support to the Head of Innovation, providing high-quality project, service, initiative, and administration support including information and analysis.

Main duties of the job

An opportunity has arisen within the Strategy and Innovation team within Arden and GEM CSU.The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a project environment, however this is not essential. Attention to detail along with the ability to plan, organise and prioritise work to tight deadlines is essential.

The post holder will undertake reporting and analysis of information to support service delivery, providing support, papers, minutes and actions for team meetings and formal governance meetings as required. The post-holder is a key member of the team whose overarching goal is to enable, promote, and support the effective use of data, information, knowledge, and technology to improve, inform and support a portfolio of projects, services, and initiatives.

Working knowledge of all Microsoft office packages is essential. The ability to prepare communication materials on the overall innovation programme for internal and external use would be a considerable advantage.

Candidates should possess good organisational and communication skills, effectively building relationships and working closely with customers and colleagues. You must be confident in planning and completing tasks using your own initiative, but also working as part of a team.

Knowledge of project methodology is desirable, or willing to learn and develop in this area.
