Job summary

The Clinical Systems team are looking for an enthusiastic, confident, and highly motivated Clinical Systems trainer to join their team covering Essex, Hampshire and Isle of Wight, Northamptonshire and Lincolnshire . This is a friendly and passionate team; whose members continually strive to improve their service. We currently have a full time substantive post available.

Our ideal candidates will have the following skills and experience:

  • Clinical system knowledge of GPSoC/GPIT Futures Lot 1 Principal clinical systems - e.g. TPP SystmOne & EMIS Web.
  • Experience of working in General Practice or knowledge of General Practice
  • Experience in providing end user training
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience of managing/supporting projects/supporting Learners
  • Excellent verbal, written communication & presentation skills
  • Expertise in service delivery and best practice
  • Full UK driving license - travel across areas on occasion will be required

Main duties of the job

As part of your role you will undertake:

  • System training delivery for new starters or refresher training including a core baseline of courses available delivered on-site, in a formal classroom environment or online.
  • Support practice optimisation of principle GP clinical systems and National digital systems, by providing support, guidance, and advice
  • Leading projects with support of other trainers
  • Responding to enquiries / queries regarding training and attending meetings & User Group meetings
  • Organising, planning, and delivering training sessions in line with the company process
  • Developing an increasing knowledge of the overall functionality of new and existing operational systems.
