Job summary

Arden & GEM CSU is searching for a talented individual to support our Application Development Team. The team's core developments are implemented using Microsoft based technologies with the main focus being on delivering web based systems for the NHS.The applicant will have proven experience developing .NET based web systems and should be familiar with working in the Azure Cloud.The ideal skills will be as follows:o ASP.Net Coreo MVCo C#o JavaScripto HTML 5o CSSo Responsive Designo SQL Servero Azure Dev Opso Angular or Reacto PowerShello REST API Developmento Azureo Unit Testingo XMLThe developer should be independent and will be expected to work to the standards and policies defined by the development team.Based in Leicester/Warwick but currently with home working arrangements, the successful candidate will form a key part of a dynamic Systems, Application and Reporting Team, delivering a high quality, responsive and efficient service, supporting customer objectives through delivery of Business Information Solutions.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will act as a senior member of the Systems, Application and Reporting Team whose purpose is to manage all aspects of developing applications for Arden & GEM Customers. Responsible for the technical design, development, and support of the SART service and associated technologies, tools, and solutions to deliver an effective service to Arden & GEM Customers.To ensure all applications are designed and developed in accordance with specifications describing customer and internal requirements. Maintain high levels of quality through management of an assurance process working closely with other members of the team, and the wider Data and Systems Team.To support the strategic planning of current and future technological solutions to ensure optimal performance, researching and reviewing recognised best practice and upcoming technological enhancements.Lead, manage and provide expert advise and support to the teams including setting and prioritising work plans and objectives making best use of available resources and embedding quality throughout the service.
