Job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly professional individual to join our team as a Communications and Engagement Administrative Assistant. You will have excellent communication skills, be reliable, flexible and well-organised.

You will work as part of a fast-paced and dynamic team which offer communications and engagement support to NHS organisations regionally and nationally.

Main duties of the job

You will be integral to the running of our team through supporting us in managing diaries, organising meetings and events and implementing financial and workflow systems. You will also have the opportunity to undertake administrative tasks which directly support our communications, engagement and FOI teams such as logging enquiries, building databases and distributing newsletters and briefings.

Your working day will be varied with competing deadlines, so you'll need to be efficient, well organised and confident working independently. As well as being able to use your own initiative and developing new ideas, you will also enjoy working as part of a team. You don't need to have NHS experience; what's important is that you are passionate and enthusiastic, can learn quickly and are happy dealing with people at all levels.

If you have fantastic administrative skills, a great attitude and are committed to the NHS values which are at the heart of everything we do, then this is the role for you!
