Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior HR Advisor to join the Corporate HR team at NHS Arden & GEM CSU to provide support to our internal services.

As Senior HR Advisor you will support the HR Business Partnering team to lead and support senior managers across the CSU. You will provide a professional, responsive and proactive HR service. The role is an interactive one and will involve frequent engagement with staff at various levels, ensuring a truly customer focused service is delivered. You will have the opportunity to be involved in specific projects and be passionate about high quality HR practice and innovative solutions.

We are keen to hear from you if you are currently a HR Advisor and are looking for a development opportunity in a HR Business Partnering model. This is a great opportunity to be part of a supportive and busy HR function.

Please note that we are agile workers therefore support working from home and may be required to travel to meet with service needs.

Main duties of the job

As Assistant HR Business Partner you will help to provide a professional, enabling and forward thinking HR service by ensuring:

  • practical implementation of all HR matters (e.g. recruitment and retention, change management, development and interpretation of policies and procedures, performance management)
  • strong employee relations

You will have a passion for HR with drive and enthusiasm to apply your HR knowledge and experience to an NHS setting. The role is an interactive one and will involve frequent engagement with staff at various levels, ensuring a truly customer focused service is delivered. You will have the opportunity to be involved in specific projects.

Candidates will need to be CIPD qualified or working towards this qualification with demonstrable experience and possess a solid foundation of HR experience, understanding employment law and following HR policy and processes.

You will report to one of our highly professional HR Business Partners and will work closely with their stakeholders at all levels of the business and with the wider Corporate HR function. We are agile workers therefore support working from home and may be required to travel to meet with service needs.
