Job summary

Working as part of our Systems, Application and Reporting Team, you will be required to design and develop reporting solutions using a wide range of reporting tools including but not limited to Tableau and Microsoft Power BI.You will be using your in-depth knowledge of Power BI and apply your strong data visualisation skills and creative flare to turn user stories into stunning solutions to address a wide range of clinical, operational, strategic questions.You will be required to utilise various software tools including the use of Microsoft SQL Server databases and its associated tools (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS).The post is home or remote working; therefore, suitable environment at home required to facilitate home working.

Main duties of the job

o You must have experience of developing a range of reports and dashboards, from creating data models in Power BI to writing complex DAX.o The post holder will work within the Systems and Reporting Team, as a Principal Reporting Solutions Developer interacting with the Lead; Business Analysts; the wider development team and AGEM customers to ensure effective service delivery and to ensure core service outputs are delivered on time and as per requiremento To design and develop Datawarehouse and Business Intelligence code across database engine, SSIS ,SSAS ,SSRS. Should be proficient in SQL Programming Languages.o Should be familiar with SharePoint Technology for BI reports Integration. Any knowledge on Microsoft .Net technology and Programming(C#/VB.Net) is nice to have.

  • Educated to degree level in relevant subject or equivalent level qualification or significant experience of working at a similar level in specialist area.
  • Experience of reports creation using Tableau, Power BI or industry standard reporting software
  • Experience of data manipulation and database storage to support reporting technologies
  • Trained in the development and use of Microsoft SQL Server databases and reporting tools (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS).

Desirable

  • Must have excellent knowledge of most of the following technologies :- SQL Server TSQL Programming SSIS Programming SSAS Cube Design DAX Language MDX Language R language SharePoint Technologies Performance Point Dashboards Tableau Power BI Power Automate
  • Comprehensive knowledge of project principles, techniques and tools, such as Prince 2 Foundation Or Agile PM
  • Skilled in the use of Tableau Skilled in the use of Power BI
  • Demonstrated experience in a Healthcare environment
