The Hub Analytics (BI) Team is a team of analysts who provide high quality, insight and analysis to ICB clients across Arden and GEM.
We are looking for experienced Information Analysts to join our Hub Analytics Team, helping Integrated Care Boards to meet their strategic and operational objectives. You will have analytical knowledge, Tableau/visualisation skills, and excellent interpersonal skills, with clear evidence of delivering first class customer service.
Principally remote home working, the successful candidate will form a key part of a dynamic information service, delivering a high quality, responsive and efficient service, supporting customers through the delivery of excellent analysis; visualisation and insight. The successful candidates should expect to work in a fast-paced environment operating to key deadlines and delivering quality results through a well-managed team. Main duties of the job
The Principal Information Analyst will be responsible for the development of data visualisation tools and products, delivering insight to Arden and GEM CSU ICB customers. This will form a key part in the migration to our new flagship reporting platform, Athena
The team is primarily working from home therefore the ability to work autonomously is essential. There may be some travel required to customer meetings or for team events

Develop excellent relationships and support effective communication between all relevant stakeholders both internal and external. Undertake data quality work, monitoring and investigating information variances, working with spokes and providers to actively pursue discrepancies and identify changes in data collection requirements to ensure that consistently high quality and compliant data is available and supplied in an understandable and usable format for analysis. Take a lead role in the reconciliation process between the SUS and SLAM data sets for all relevant contract areas, communicating feedback customers and providers. Maximise the information held within existing data sets, including complex data management and manipulation exploiting their potential in turning information into knowledge. Gather, analyse and interpret complex information, including both quantitative and qualitative, from a wide range of sources taking account of confidentiality and the limitations of the data used. To work with a broad spectrum of information from a wide range of sources presenting complex and sophisticated information in a meaningful way to increase organisational knowledge and enable evidence-based decisions. Ensure that contract, quality and performance analysis is carried out with constant awareness of customer needs, in order to give them the quickest answers to their questions and best value-for-money. Utilise modelling and forecasting techniques to predict future need and demand. Present findings of complex investigation and analysis and recommendations in a clear and intelligible form as presentations or written reports, suitable for a wide range of lay and professional audiences. Give and assist in presentations to audiences of stakeholder staff to aid the audience with understanding of analysis findings. Support and inform the targeting of resources, monitoring, implementation and evaluation in support of contract management by providing high quality support including complex information and analysis, communications and stakeholder management. Participate in relevant meetings e.g. contract management meetings, providing information advice and support where requested. Support the development of new reporting mechanisms, particularly the use of electronic systems and automated reports for the management and provision of regular and routine management information. Work with Arden & GEMs data and development team to create and maintain relevant processes and data quality checks to ensure data remains of high quality for analysis. Ensure high quality information presentation is maintained through sharing knowledge and skills with colleagues, sharing best practices and demonstrate own governance through development of work based procedures/ processes. Ensure all processes are appropriately documented and stored in the designated shared drive. Effectively manage a number of projects simultaneously and prioritise workload appropriately. Keep abreast of related developments as part of ongoing continuous professional development.
Provide relevant and timely specialist advice and guidance on functional and information matters. Work with members of the team and key stakeholder to investigate the causes of any variance from plan/delivery targets and contribute to the implementation of solutions. Support the development of internal and external communications where required by regular contact with the teams, stakeholders and Communications team. Responsible for preparation of correspondence and complex papers, as directed by Manager. Promote the work of the Information Services department within Arden & GEM CSU and beyond.
