Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of the changing shape of Primary Care within South Sefton. Due to current pressures on the day to day of General Practices, the PCN provide support to General Practice across South Sefton and support its members through the Admin Hub.
Ultimately the roles within the Admin Hub free up time for practices to provide a more interpersonal service to its patients. Simultaneously this lays the groundwork for practices to work closely together, eventually standardising workflow and allowing specific tasks to be completed remotely. Primarily, however the role is there to ensure patients receive the most accurate and up to date care they need.
The role is part time 17.5 hours per week, working from the PCN offices in Bootle with occasional home working. There may also be a requirement to work within general practices across South Sefton.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will focus on alleviating the general admin workload across South Sefton General Practices. This will require a flexible approach to work, with the ability to deal with a variety of tasks.
Currently, the Admin Hub's main focus is coding clinical documents, ensuring the correct SNOMED codes have been assigned to patients Emis record. At present, we are working across 10 General Practices, with a requirement to assist with the following administrative tasks when required.
