Job summary
We are seeking a full time, motivated and experienced Support Administrator to join our team at Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit (MLCSU). You will be working as part of a team, supporting the Personalised Healthcare Team with a variety of administrative tasks.

This role will be office based and home working until further notice, this may change to full time office base in the future. Office is based in Stoke on Trent.
Main duties of the job
The role will carry with it a varied workload and competing deadlines, so you will be able to use your own initiative and prioritise; although you will have access to relevant supervision and support.
The successful candidate will have experience in Microsoft Office applications and ECDL or equivalent would be desirable. The role will require good written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail is essential for the post.
You will need to be confident, flexible and have good organisational ability with a flexible approach to work.
This is a key position within a changing service and provides a good opportunity for the successful candidate to gain experience and learn new skills.

1. To work within the remit of the National Framework for Continuing Healthcare.2. Provide a confidential and sensitive administrative support to the Continuing Healthcare Team.3. Ensure that data systems are kept up to date to allow accurate and detailed reporting capabilities, this could be for internal or external requirements.4. Produce a range of confidential documents, including typing of letters and file notes. Maintain an effective office support system including filing, photocopying and telephone cover.5. Maintain confidentiality of information concerning patients.6. High attention to detail and motivation required to work towards and adhere to challenging deadlines. Ability to prioritise your own workload is critical.7. Cross cover other administrators as required.8. Participate in objective setting and monthly 1:1 meetings with Line Manager and attend all CSU mandatory training and other training relevant to role.9. Take every reasonable opportunity to maintain and improve professional knowledge.10. Work collaboratively with and offering advice to internal and external agencies acrossStaffordshire, deferring to colleagues where necessary.11. The post holder will regularly deal with a range of routine and non-routine administrative tasks as required for an efficient and effective service.
