Job summary
The Power BI developer
is a key role in ensuring that the design, development and support of new
technologies, tools and solutions to deliver information and reporting to NECS
customers.
We offer hybrid working in this role meaning that the
successful candidate can work from a mixture of locations including home and our
Durham office.
Main duties of the job
This role will be responsible
for:
- Lead on the development and management of
dashboards. Will have significant experience of delivering end to end projects,
from design to implementation utilising specific tools i.e. QlikSense, PowerBI,
SQL Server, PRINCE2 methodology
- Design, development and support of new
technologies, tools and solutions
- Provide managerial and professional leadership
to Information Solution Analysts in the team
- Transform
multiple complex data streams into timely information and reports that add
values to the organisations core business functions, striving for maximum
quality
- Produce, revise and update comprehensive
documentation and procedure notes relating to development of tools/solutions
- Keep
pace with emerging data/information reporting requirements and managing
competing demands to deliver an excellent standard across all areas of work
