Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective coordination of documentation to ensure that key documents are to hand whilst projects are being delivered at pace. Sharing experience and progress is pivotal for success through the setting up of timely project boards and stakeholder meetings, organisation and facilitation of project workshops and events. The candidate must be able to apply effective configuration management to project libraries, ensure PMO processes are applied to the project and provide a quality assurance function over project products and documentation.

You will have the ability to source, assimilate and analyse data and information relating to a wide range of services and be able to translate this into an easily understood format covering report management for various stakeholder requirements. The ability to provide detailed and complex reports for senior management is key.

The successful candidate must be experienced in an admin capacity with refined organisational skills that balance work, and team support. In addition, can action ad-hoc responsibilities in a timely and professional manner.

The role is for a pro-active individual with the ability to establish priorities, work independently and proceed with objectives. Must have a professional attitude and proven communication skills and able to communicate and interact at all levels of staff within the organisation. The role is also office based for five days per week.

To apply effective configuration management to project libraries, ensure PMO processes are applied to the project and provide a quality assurance function over project products and documentation.

To provide an efficient and effective project support service ensuring that all good practice guidelines are followed and key documents are produced, maintained and filed in a timely manner.

To support the BIS programme office in delivery of training and standardised working.

Work closely with the EPMO to support standard good practice related to project and programme management.

To provide and support a standard way of working related to projects supporting the delivery of technical work streams across multiple projects under the supervision of the Projects Manager, working closely with IT services when required.

Continuously improving everything we do in order to consistently exceed customer expectations.

  • PRINCE 2 Foundation Certificate, or equivalent.
