An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Permanent Project Lead to join North of England Commissioning Support Digital Transformation & Optimisation Service, Digital Support Team
Due to promotion we are looking for an enthusiastic Project Lead to join the Digital Support Team in the Digital Transformation & Optimisation Service. The team of 10 provide professional project, digital transformation & optimisation services to a wide array of clients across the health sector including Humber & North Yorkshire Health Care Partnership, North East & North Cumbria ICS, Local Trusts & Local Authorities as well as NECS staff based across England. The Project Lead is a key role in ensuring the provision of high quality, efficient & customer-focused digital project services to this broad range of customer groups
The role is based at the Willerby office with an offer of hybrid working meaning that the successful candidate can work from a mixture of locations including home, NECS office & customer locations. It is expected that a minimum of 2 days per week will be spent in the office environment at Willerby due to the role primarily covering digital projects within the Humber and North Yorkshire area

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Project Manager in delivery of large-scale projects, as well as taking ownership of smaller scale projects, with a significant focus on change management and service modernisation and improvement.
The post holder will be responsible for supporting the provision of high quality, efficient and customer focused project management to a broad range of customer groups with a significant emphasis on governance and you will be responsible for delivering a first-class service and will therefore be driven, diplomatic, personable, proactive, and professional.
The candidate must be experienced in project management with refined organisational skills that balance work, and team support. The successful candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills and be able to provide detailed complex reports and presentations when required.
Experience of managing business change at process level and benefits realisation would be desirable but not essential.
Extensive knowledge of working within the NHS and the Digital Agenda would be highly desirable.
