Job summary

There is an exciting opportunity for an administration coordinator with experience of managing an administration team and extensive knowledge of programmes including Microsoft. The post is full time permanent and the role will involve working across and with the NECS and North East and North Cumbria Integrated Care Board (NENC ICB) all age continuing care teams.

The all age continuing care teams undertake assessments across NENC in adherence with the National Framework for Children's Continuing Care (CCC) and the National Framework for NHS continuing healthcare and NHS-funded care. The administration coordinator is key in leading the administration team to support the ICB to meet the statutory functions outlined in the guidance and providing data to NHS England. The coordinator will manage a large administration team to manage the pathway of referrals on an electronic system, arranging an assessment or review, sending outcome letters and supporting commissioning packages of care for individual who receive health funding.

Main duties of the job

The coordinator will supporting the all age continuing teams to achieve the key performance indicators (KPI) and act as the first point of contact for administration queries.

This role will be responsible for:

Managing the end to end administration process in adherence with the National Frameworks

Coordinating and managing the administration team.

Provide a high standard of work using a variety of programmes including Microsoft.

Supporting the commissioning of the packages of care to ensure providers are paid in a timely manner.

Support the clinical teams

Record keeping as per NECS/ICB policy and procedures.

Working in partnership with individuals and their representatives.

Building and maintain relationships.

In order to be successful in this role you will need:

Excellent communication skills

Experience of managing a team.

Experience of systems including Microsoft programmes, clinical systems.

Ability to work as part of a team and with minimal direction

Ability to organise your own workload and prioritise
