Data Processor (Full-time/Part-time)
Salary: £11.18 per hour (£21,860.91 p.a. WTE)
The practice is looking to appoint a Data Processor to join it's Practice Data Team.
Main duties of the job
To ensure clinical correspondence is added correctly and efficiently to patients' medical records.
To code relevant information from patients' clinical correspondence, into the practice computer system, working strictly in accordance with the practice's protocols.
To assist in the collection required for reporting.

The Claypath and University Medical Group is a well organised, successful, and forward thinking General Medical Services (GMS) training practice which operates as a single practice Primary Care Network. The practice has a list size of over 34,000 patients, half of whom are students and staff from the University of Durham.
The practice is contracted to provide essential general medical services for people who are sick or perceive themselves to be sick. Additional services include cervical screening, contraceptive services, vaccination and immunisation, child health surveillance, and maternity services. Enhanced service provision includes minor surgery, extended hours, care/support for patients with a learning disability, and vasectomies.
PCN services include podiatry, first contact physiotherapy, social prescribing, clinical pharmacy, mental health, care coordination.

This is a busy role which is key to ensuring the smooth delivery of services across the practice/PCN.
The postholder will be required to maintain a high level of confidentiality and an up-to-date awareness and understanding of legislation to comply with GDPR, Data Protection and Security, Information Governance, and Caldicott Guardian principles.
The postholder will be aware of the confidential nature of this role and work accurately and with attention to detail, to maintain security of patients' personal and confidential medical information.
All duties will be carried out in a pleasant, effective, and efficient manner. This key post requires the postholder to be a team player and being willing to help where necessary is essential.

- Evidence of working with numerical and other data.
