Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior IT Project Manager in the IDCR Team at NHS Greater Manchester Integrated Care until the end of March 2024.
The post holder will work within the IDCR Team, providing Senior project management for a portfolio of IT/Digital innovation projects and supporting the roll out of the GM CR across Greater Manchester. Primary Care experience is therefore desired.
This is a dynamic role that is part of a team covering the Greater Manchester area. Delivery will be to Localities, GP practices, and Local Partner Organisations (Health and Social Care) on behalf of NHS GM Integrated Care.
Main duties of the job
The SPM will lead on the project management of a large portfolio of projects that explore new ways of working.This post will be focused on ensuring that Primary Care staff are using digital tools effectively, maximising benefits for both patients and practice staff in line with the overall ICS Digital Strategies. The SPM will be required to work closely with senior stakeholders and clinical staff to understand and define current service processes and then map these against the digital systems' functionality, to ensure the systems and processes are embedded into the workflow to manage the change and maximise benefits.
The SPM must have an in depth understanding and experience of delivering digital projects in a complex environment. Working as part of a large team of subject matter experts they will require strong leadership skills and have a results driven outlook. Greater Manchester Integrated Care will be at the forefront of delivering the Digital First Primary Care Strategy so the post holder must have a clear understanding of the requirements
