Job summary
The Emergency Nurse Practitioner [ENP] is a key role in our nurse-led Minor Injury Unit. The ENP is a highly specialised Practitioner who will function as an autonomous practitioner, independently assessing, diagnosing and treating patients who attend with minor injuries, across the full scope of practice as defined in the Agored Cymru Level 7 Diploma in the Autonomous Management of Minor Injuries (Wales) programme (referred to as the Agored L7 Diploma).
Please note this post is only suitable for qualified emergency nurse practitioners who hold the Agored Level 7 Diploma or equivalent qualification
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be a keen mentor/ clinical supervisor for trainee ENPs/triage nurses and health care support workers.
The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the unit, which includes being responsible for providing and ensuring all patients within the unit have quality care and for minimising clinical risk through their management and leadership role. The post holder will provide clinical leadership and management to the nursing team within the unit.

- In receipt of Level 7 Education (master's degree) relevant to area of practice or equivalent experience

- In receipt of or working toward Independent Prescribing qualification (if required for role).
