Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Cancer Performance and Information team based at Neath Port Talbot Hospital.
We are looking for a self motivated, organised individual with an exceptional eye for detail. The post holder will support both managers and staff to ensure accurate, up to date cancer performance information.
The post holder will be proficient in Excel and Word as both applications are used extensively to analyse and present information to wider audiences.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will collect, extract, interpret and regularly present cancer performance data, supporting the Cancer Performance & Information leads in monitoring and tracking cancer patients, utilising WPAS Cancer Tracker, Cancer Dashboard, other cancer informatics systems as well as clinical systems such as WCP, RADIS, EMS to demonstrate performance and patient care.
The post holder will liaise with Cancer Trackers, MDT Coordinators and managers to advise on interpretation and recording of key information.
To ensure that the cancer tracker systems are accurate, complete and up to date in order to be analysed and that reports produced are of a high standard in accordance with local procedures and National guidance.
The role requires you to work in an already established team, therefore you will be required to demonstrate good team working skills and behaviours.
