HCSW - Palliative Care

Job summary

The Healthcare Assistant (Level 2) will work at all times under the delegation of a registered practitioner or assistant practitioner in the delivery of person centred care. The post holder will be responsible for following care plans and recording all personally generated observations and documenting care given in individual's notes.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for motivated, compassionate health care support worker to join the Specialist Palliative Care in -patient unit team in Ty Olwen.

Working alongside the staff nurses and other Multi-disciplinary team members you will learn how to look after the complex needs of the palliative care patient as well as supporting the family and support network.

Working in Specialist Palliative Care is a great opportunity if you are looking for a new challenge and want to further develop skills which you have gained in other areas of health care.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply
