Job summary
We have an excellent opportunity within our friendly prison healthcare department for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our strong pharmacy team in delivering a high quality service to those in prison.

The role we have on offer will involve working within the pharmacy and prison medical wing.
Providing a pharmacy ward top-up service to allocated wings and receiving stock from suppliers within the pharmacy.
Within the Dispensary you will dispense prescriptions for outpatients, as well as greeting patients and staff at our healthcare. The reception area is a busy, dynamic environment where you will be able to use all your communication skills to their full potential.
Previous Pharmacy experience is desirable but not necessary as training will be given in all aspects of the job, including use of the computer system.
You will also be expected to attain the NVQ Level 2 within 12 months of taking up the post. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills combined with good time management and organisational skills.
