We are looking for enthusiastic LAS ST Higher (Middle grade) in the department of Cardiac surgery based at Morriston Hospital, Swansea, Wales.
The post will be fixed term from 5th February 2025 - 3rd February 2026 only, due to covering a training doctor vacancy.
The successful candidate will be working together with the wider clinical team of Consultants, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Junior Doctors and other Allied Health Professionals to provide high quality, safe and effective clinical care. Working as part of the multi-disciplinary team, to provide immediate care and initiate treatment as per clinical pathways/protocols.
Main duties of the job
Swansea BayNHS Health Board provides a broad range of community and inpatient services. The Health Board is one of the largest in Wales and the UK.
We are looking to employ a LAS ST Higher in the department of Cardiothoracic based at Morriston Hospital in Swansea. This post is NOT recognised for training purposes but the successful candidate will have access to teaching and encourage to participate in audit, quality improvement projects etc.
