Job summary

This post is for a locum consultant with a sub specialist interest in breast cancer and lung cancer radiotherapy.

The postholder will be an integral member of the Breast Cancer team, currently including three Medical Oncologists, , two Clinical Oncologists, one of whom is a Specialist Oncologist, a Specialist Nurse for both metastatic and adjuvant breast cancer and a dedicated pharmacist. The team is also supported by research nurses.

Main duties of the job

The postholder will provide a clinical service, with colleagues, which will include the responsibility for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of illness.

The post holder will see approximately 150 new patients a year. Patient receiving adjuvant breast radiotherapy then have surgical follow up.
