Main duties of the job
Critical Care Practitioners (CCP`s) are registered practitioners who have undertaken additional post registration clinical development and higher education, enabling them to assess and manage critically ill or injured patients who have high acuity needs during the pre-hospital or transfer/retrieval phase.

This role requires CCP`s to be signed off at gateways within the CCP developmental pathway, which are achieved by completing specific courses, undertaking work-based assessments, level 7 education and completion of a clinical portfolio.
To qualify for this role, you must be HCPC / NMC registered, meet all of the essential criteria within the personal specification, and be able to provide demonstrable relevant experience in the prehospital emergency care setting.
Selection for this rewarding role is demanding, & consists of a fitness test, several clinical scenario assessments, a written examination, and an interview including Crew Resource Management elements.
