Job summary

The post holder will work autonomously and provide administrative and technical support for the simulationfaculty including setting up and programming of the operational equipment's software on site during simulationteaching sessions of the simulation tutors, and will;o Provide comprehensive coordination and administrative support for the team.o Provide comprehensive technical support including preparing and running scenarios ready for simulationteaching.o Ensure the maintenance of specialist high fidelity simulation equipment and other skills and simulationequipment's / software's is undertaken.o Provide support and set up specialist equipment for teaching purposeso Provide support to Educational supervisors, medical education faculty and medical education manager inGraduate Entry Medicine related activities.o Day-to-Day Supervision and allocation of work to the Admin Team

Main duties of the job

Provides comprehensive administrative and technical support to the Simulation faculty, Educational supervisors, medical education faculty and medical education manager. This includes in preparing and running scenarios for simulation teaching.

To lead the maintenance of specialist high fidelity simulation equipment and other skills and simulation equipment's / software's within the Education Centres.

Consult and help with the purchase of clinical skills equipment, low, and high fidelity simulation for the medical education department and to co-ordinate and oversee their installation.

Provide IT and AV support for teaching in the Education Centres.

To set up specialist equipment for teaching purposes and provide technical support as and when required.

To give instruction on the correct and safe use of all clinical skills and simulation equipment to anyone who requires it to ensure that equipment belonging to medical education department is used correctly and safely.

Work with Simulation lead and facilitators to help improve the technical delivery of the programme.

To provide support to Educational supervisors, medical education faculty and medical education manager in GEM related activities and when not engaged in Sim related activities.
