Job summary
Are you enthusiastic, motivated and hard working? If so we have the job for you. We are looking to recruit one full time and one part time Fracture Clinic Typist within our small, friendly team.
The successful candidates will work as a member of a team providing efficient and effective typing/secretarial support for Fracture Clinic services within Trauma & Orthopaedics.
The full time post is 37.5 hours per week worked over 5 days and the part time post is 16 hours worked over 4 days (afternoons).
Main duties of the job
Accurate audio transcription of all dictated clinics ensuring clarity, grammatical correctness and that dictation matches the patient entry on a daily basis.
Typing of appropriate official correspondence with other related clerical duties and assist with general office duties as necessary including receiving, sending and sorting mail and photocopying.
Interrogate, maintain and update patient record details within the appropriate patient information system, e.g. WPAS/DMS. Update patient details e.g. change of address, surname, General Practitioner.
