Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Clerk/Receptionist to join our team on Ward L Morriston

The successful candidate will provide administrative/reception support to facilitate the smooth, efficient and effective running of our ward greeting patients, attending and appointing appointments on WPAS, handling of patient notes and tracking of notes on IFIT, accurate data entry on WPAS and delivering notes to secretaries.

We are looking for individuals with good clinical interpersonal and communication skills, who are willing and able to adapt to change and to work individually within their level of competence.

Current experience of working in a fast paced busy reception environment is desirable.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will provide administrative/reception support to facilitate the smooth, efficient and effective running of our ward greeting patients, attending and appointing appointments on WPAS, handling of patient notes and tracking of notes on IFIT, accurate data entry on WPAS and delivering notes to secretaries. Booking ambulance / transport for patients.

The role involves greeting patients, receive and process referrals into the service and ensure that they are recorded on the system.

Current experience of working in a fast paced busy reception environment is desirable.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
