Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a friendly, hardworking and experienced administrative support officer to join our busy Rapid Diagnosis Centre (RDC) team as the service has recently expanded to pilot new pathways.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and well motivated individual with excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills with theability to work as part of a team and your own initiative; you will provide vital administrative support for the RDC team.
The ideal candidate will have previous administrative experience with a high level of computer literacy and will be able to deal effectively withprioritising workloads and deadlines. The post holder must be able to work with discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times.
Main duties of the job
To provide comprehensive administrative support to the Rapid Diagnosis Centre. This includes; providing administrative support, arrangingmeetings, coordinating information, preparation of agendas, minute taking, data entry, processing referrals into the service, typing clinic letters and supporting regular routine audits.
The post holder is required to communicate and liaise with staff and members of the public, produce work to deadlines whilst ensuringcompliance with Health Board policies. This is a key supporting role in the effective running of the RDC service.
