Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the ITU team at Morriston Hospital as an Audit & Data Clerk. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate excellent IT, communication, organisational and attention to detail skills.

The ideal candidate will have previous administration experience with a high level of computer literacy and will be able to deal effectively with prioritising workload and deadlines.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

The post involves the collection, collation, entry and analysis of data, the preparation and dissemination of reports.

  • The post is primarily concerned with ensuring the provision of timely, accurate and appropriate data, from a multiple range of sources, to meet local and national requirements. The post involves the collection, collation, entry and analysis of data, the preparation and dissemination of reports.
  • The post holder will be required to support the Operational Lead for Critical Care in the development, creation and management of the Critical Care databases, audit tools and other audit related software, and providing an innovative and pro-active information service.
  • The post holder must have good interpersonal skills and the ability to work both autonomously and within a team.
