The Perinatal Mental Health Service are delighted to be advertising nursery nurse roles within the service.
The Nursery Nurse role is a vital part of the multi-disciplinary team providing assessment and treatment to mothers and families experiencing mental illness during the perinatal period.
The Nursery Nurse role contributes expertise and skills in the observations and assessments of the parent-infant relationship, promoting the development and maintenance of parent-infant confidence & connection, and where necessary supporting parents in the development of practical knowledge, routines and skills to assist family life and parental functioning.
Main duties of the job
The Swansea Bay Perinatal Mental Health Team is delighted to be recruiting a Nursery Nurse to join our multi-disciplinary team. The Service delivers high quality evidence based assessments, care and treatment to women and families experiencing, or at risk of experiencing, perinatal mental illness.
The successful candidate will be positive in their professional approach and posses excellent knowledge and skills relative to the role. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication skills, resilience, and self motivation.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
